Our Objectives
PHAIG has set out several objectives to guide its work towards achieving its mission. Some of these objectives include:
- Conducting evidence-based research: PHAIG aims to conduct research that is based on evidence to gain insights into various health issues affecting the Ghanaian population and sub-Saharan Africa. Through this research, the organization seeks to come up with practical solutions to these health issues.
- Advocating for improved health governance: PHAIG recognizes that health governance plays a crucial role in promoting health and wellbeing. Therefore, the organization aims to drive changes and improvements in health governance at various levels through its research.
- Partnering with other health organizations: PHAIG understands the value of collaboration in finding practical solutions to health-related issues in sub-Saharan Africa. Thus, the organization liaises with other health organizations, both regional and global, to leverage synergy and resources to achieve its objectives.
- Bringing more visibility to health issues: PHAIG aims to bring more visibility to pertinent health issues within sub-Saharan Africa by engaging various stakeholders. Through these engagements, the organization seeks to create awareness and encourage dialogue towards finding lasting solutions to these health issues.
- Providing research-based recommendations: PHAIG collaborates with stakeholders in various industries to offer research-based recommendations on practicable solutions to environmental health problems associated with industrial activities. The organization seeks to ensure that industrial activities do not compromise public health and wellbeing.
